This book contains yoga teachings and practices, as well as personal experiences with insight into what yoga really is and how it can help you live a more fulfilling life.

The practices included in this book will assist with bringing clarity and balance into everyday life, strengthen your relationship to Self, deepen your connection to the world, and provide a path forward to living the life your heart desires.

“I am very impressed with how well written this book is. It delivers the misconception that a lot of people have yoga. It is truly by far one of the best books I have read.
Seriously I never thought of Yoga as for me. But, the more I have looked into this. The more and more I have come to realize that Yoga isn't a bad thing. I am disabled, and I love the fact that in this book it talks about meditation. Which I have noticed when done correctly will help reduce your blood pressure, and slow your heart rate. Thank you Crystal for giving me the keys that I need to help myself live a better me.”

This book is a wonderful introduction to the many layers of yoga beyond asana or “the physical” as Crystal puts it in the title. Yoga is so much more than the physical practices we see in the mainstream west. It can truly be for everyone and can be incorporated into our lives in a myriad of ways but often people believe anything outside of asana to be too esoteric. This book opens the doors to basic yoga philosophy and practices, outside asana, in easy to understand, heartfelt language. Crystal gives clear instructions for lots of practices that you can start doing on your own to supplement your mental and physical well-being. If you want to take a deeper look at yoga but aren’t ready for Iyengar this is an excellent start!
