my book

What I know to be true in my heart, is that yoga is so much more than a physical practice. Yoga's knowledge and wisdom are endless and when we devote ourselves to this practice, we can never stop learning and growing into our authentic true self, which is pure love and light. I am here today as a teacher and a student of this eternal practice in hopes to share what I've learned, experienced, and embodied with all those who are ready to join me.

book reviews

This book is a wonderful introduction to the many layers of yoga beyond asana or “the physical” as Crystal puts it in the title. Yoga is so much more than the physical practices we see in the mainstream west. It can truly be for everyone and can be incorporated into our lives in a myriad of ways but often people believe anything outside of asana to be too esoteric. This book opens the doors to basic yoga philosophy and practices, outside asana, in easy to understand, heartfelt language. Crystal gives clear instructions for lots of practices that you can start doing on your own to supplement your mental and physical well-being. If you want to take a deeper look at yoga but aren’t ready for Iyengar this is an excellent start! - Jade
